Back in French Polynesia

After months of refit work in New Zealand, Wanderlust is back on the move. Our 2,488-mile upwind passage from Marsden Cove brought us once again to French Polynesia this past March. It was an 18-day voyage, kicking off with 20–30 knots of wind before settling into the steady rhythm of ocean life.

Since then, Wanderlust has traced her wake through the Society and Tuamotu Islands — from Tahiti and Moorea to Rangiroa, Kauehi, Tahanea, Raiatea, and Tahaa. Each leg has carried us to new anchorages, coral reefs, and long, quiet stretches of bluewater sailing.

For the past several weeks we’ve been anchored in Rangiroa, diving among the atoll’s world-famous passes and soaking in the rhythm of atoll life. With our long-stay visas, we’ll continue exploring these islands over the coming year — and you can follow our track here in real time as Wanderlust carries us deeper into the Pacific.
